Halloween and Week 15

For those of you checking out this post, please note that I just posted photos from week 14 just yesterday.  So, you might want to go back a post!

Anyway, this week was Halloween.  Although the boys did some Trick-or-Treating last weekend, the three of us also went out the evening of the 31st.  We headed over to some friends' home and explored their neighborhood.  Alex was, of course, fairly oblivious to all of the activities.  Clayton, however, actually loved going out despite the periodic downpours!  He was excited to find the houses with "lights on and the orange sign" letting him know they were participating in the candy handouts.

And here are all the kids checking out their loot.

Alex continues to be a happy happy boy.  This is a photo that one of his teachers sent me of him during the day.

When we got up the other day, Clayton asked if he could read Alex a story.  Of course I said yes - hope  to see this many times over the next several years.

I took the boys to a big indoor playground yesterday to meet some coworkers and their three-year olds. Clayton loved the low-rider tricycle...

...and climbing the big play structure.

Alex pretty much slept the whole time while we were at the playground, but he's getting more and more adept at playing with his own toys at home.  He's grabbing and hitting things with clear intention.

The boys chillin' together.

And the official 15-week photo of our happy boy.

Thanks, Jennifer. These pictures are a great way for us to keep up with your growing boys. They are both such happy boys and such fun to be with. Since we can't visit as often as we would like, these photos are a wonderful way to keep up with them.
