Brotherly Love

Ryan and I frequently discuss how fortunate we are to have the boys that we have.  Of course, each "exasperates" us in his own way on occasion (ask Clayton, he knows that word well), but we are tremendously blessed by their presence in our life.

One of the best thing for me over the past 16 weeks, has been watching Clayton fall in love with his new little brother.  He adores Alex and just seems to enjoy being around him.  In turn, Alex's face lights up with a big grin the minute his big brother is in his line of sight.

Here are the two boys playing together.

Alex is now able to grab toys that are in his reach.

Clayton likes to attempt to make Alex smile in whatever way he can.

Here he is in the mask he made at school.

Even though it's a baby toy, Clayton doesn't hesitate to join Alex on the play mat.

As much as Clayton enjoys playing with Alex, he enjoys pretending he's Daddy.  Here he is with his belt and hat, ready to go to work.

It's amazing how difficult it is to get a good hair cut for a young boy (and not pay a ridiculous sum)...so, Ryan and I decided to do it ourselves.  We may have gotten a tad overzealous with the razor.

Clayton didn't seem to mind - now he looks more like Alex and Daddy.

Tickling Alex...on the head.

And, here is our 16-week old boy.

Oh, an I like Clayton's new haircut - as he says - he is one of the "boys"!
