My first baby is 3...I'm not sure how that he has reached that age already, but he has. Clayton really is a "big boy" now. One with his own personality and opinions. He makes us smile and laugh more often than not. We had a great week celebrating his birthday. He helped me make cupcakes for his classmates. You'll notice that there are no pictures of the finished product, because my attempt at drawing spiderwebs was less than successful.
We had a low key birthday dinner at home on Wednesday since Ryan was out of town. Chicken nuggets, corn, and strawberries, followed by cupcake - well actually just the icing.
While Ryan was out of town, Nana came to stay with us for a couple of days to help. Clayton had fun putting together a big floor puzzle with her that Aunt Tracy gave him for his birthday.
We gave Clayton a "BIG BOY BIKE." It's red.
I attempted to put it together by myself and did ok, although the pedals kept falling off as Clayton attempted to ride down the street (guess you really do need to tighten all bolts with a wrench).
Clayton practicing saying "I'm Three!"
We threw a birthday party for Clayton this evening and invited several of his friends and their families. The theme was Superheroes - of course. I attempted to make many of the decorations.

I had a mask decorating station...
...and a web shooting stations using silly string.
Alex's mask didn't quite fit.
Clayton was a fierce Spiderman.
Well maybe not too fierce.
The group photo - given the state of our backyard at the end of the 2 hour event - I have no idea how we got all of these kids to stand still long enough to get this photo!
If you disregard Alex's face, this is a pretty cute selfie photo of me and my boys!
And despite the lack of photos of sweet Alex this week, I still remembered to get take his official 8-week (yup - you read that correctly, 8-week) photo. If the occurrence of Clayton's 3rd birthday wasn't enough to make us feel time flies, the fact that Alex is already almost 2 months old certainly does! What a big boy!

What fun! You clebrated Clayton's third birthday in fine style. I wish I had been able to witness the happy chaos of his friends birthday.
I am sure Clayton loved it and you were ready for the two hour mark when it arrived.
I can't believe that Alex is already eight weeks old, although he looks ready to take of jogging in his picture. He is working hard to catch up with his big brother.
It is wonderful to see you all having such a great time.
Love - Mom
