A quiet uneventful week

I don't have much to write about this week. Not much occurred that seems blogworthy. Clayton developed his first apparent cold which led to some fairly sleepless and worry-filled nights for us. But, he seems to have recovered quickly and actually slept for a 4 1/2 hour stretch the other night. Unfortunately, that has not been repeated. Most of the pictures posted below are from this weekend. We enjoyed a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Olsta, who came to spend the afternoon with us on Sunday. Clayton settled in with each of them very quickly.

Relaxed with Grandma.

Hanging out with Grandpa.

Grandma, Clayton, Daddy, and Grandpa.

Unfortunately, Ryan was stuck at work alot this week, so Daddy-Clayton time was limited. They made up for it on Saturday though, with Clayton spending much of the afternoon in his Daddy's arms.

Doesn't he look happy...

...and so relieved to have Daddy around again?

After waking up and eating in the morning, Clayton is often at his happiest. We spend the first hour or so of the day "playing."
He's been loving his playmat lately. I wish I could post an audio file of his little giggles too.

He also loves lying on the changing table and having his neck nuzzled.

The following are just some cute shots of Clayton:

And his official week 5 photo. It's amazing how much he's changed already.

How did he get so "grown up" so fast? He seems to have changed so much even from last weekend. He does look very content to be with Dad.
Wonderful pictures! Did you say you were coming down again soon? Just Oma asking.

Love you all - Mom
