Prior to our departure to Indiana, we had a lovely (well mildly sickly on my part) Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at home in Milwaukee - just the FOUR of us!!!
We had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner and then watched some Christmas shows before putting the boys to bed.
On Christmas morning, Ryan actually went to get Clayton out of bed! Once we got him downstairs though, we didn't need to encourage him in anyway. Here are the two boys sitting beneath the tree - probably my favorite photo of the holidays.
Clayton was very adept at opening gifts independently this year. His and...
...Alex's.
Clayton couldn't help "open" Alex's biggest gift of the holiday season - his bottom two front teeth! It's made for a very sleepless several weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas this year. Here's our toothy baby boy on his first Christmas morning.
In Goshen, the boys loved hanging out with Uncle Greg, Oma, Opa, and the Herber clan. Oma gave Clayton Connect Four. The strategy sessions were quite intense.

Since we were out of town, I neglected to take Alex's 23 week picture. So here he is 23 weeks and 2 days old! Happy Holidays!
