Another month gone by...

So the frequency of my blogging continues to lag well below my hoped level.  To those of you who actually care, I apologize!  Anyway - my intent with this month's post is to quell any smoldering anger with just a ton of pictures from February to update you on Clayton's latest adventures.

As mentioned in the previous post, Clayton is a talker.  He particularly enjoys telling us where things are and looking for them himself.  In this photo, he's looking "under" for his favorite puzzle piece "whale"

When he finds "whale" he likes to show how much he loves it by hugging "whale."

One of Clayton's other new little favorite quirky behaviors is to play in the "corner," which is the first landing in our staircase.  We don't do a whole lot in the "corner," but it is a favorite play location.

We tried to do a couple of self-photos one time when we were playing in the "corner"

Do you think he got into the spirit of the photoshoot?

Clayton also enjoys hanging out in his closet.  I took this photo after Clayton disappeared and I found him in there with the lights off and door shut.  He told me he was reading "click clack moo."

We've started introducing Clayton to the potty - he's not to excited about it yet.

Clayton has also started selecting his own clothes.  This red ensemble was a Clayton special (notice the matching red striped socks)...

...as was this grey, "orange pants" and blue striped sock combo!

The other weekend, Clayton and I went on our first playdate.  We met up with some of my friends and their kids.  Clayton played with our friends for brief moments, but otherwise just LOVED running around the huge indoor playground.  If any cousins want to come and visit, we'll take you there too!

At home, Clayton loves to build houses with "doors" for the Noahs.

He also just loves to play with any of his toys as long as his instructions of "Mama come" and "Dada come" are followed.

Love the pictures! Thanks. It seems that Clayton is getting more independent all the time. What fun.
