Just a few pictures of our wonderful holiday season. We were able to have our own small family Christmas here in Milwaukee before heading east to Indiana. This year, Clayton seemed to understand the whole idea of opening gifts - although he has not yet learned to hide or modulate his reactions. For example - he did not seem too impressed with his penguin ornament stocking stuffer. :)
He still needed just a little assistance in pulling off the wrapping paper. His skills did improve quickly over the next few days.
The trucks were a hit and he still plays with them on a daily basis.
We were fortunate enough to spend some time with Oma, Opa, Uncle Greg, Aunt Lisa, Uncle Breck, Eliza and Leo in Goshen. Clayton loved spending time with them and playing with their toys. Thanks Leo - for sharing your vacuum!
Clayton and I spent the whole week between Christmas and New Years. By the end of the week, Clayton had developed a high level of comfort at Oma and Opa's house. He loved to just sit on the steps and "yell" at us from his perch!
Aunt Lisa, Uncle Breck, Leo and Eliza (oh - and Uncle Greg too) came to Milwaukee to spend January 2nd with us.
Uncle Ryan's Ipad was quite a hit with the gang. The following are just a few pics of the cousins hanging out together.
Uncle Greg was a great reader.
I'm certain 2012 will be just as much of an adventure as 2011! Can't wait to share it via pictures with those of you who visit us through this blog once in awhile.

awww, I miss everyone. That being said, what's missing from this quote: "Aunt Lisa, Uncle Breck, Leo and Eliza came to Milwaukee to spend January 2nd with us. " Ouch. Ouch.
hat tip.
