Burgeoning Appetite

This was a big week for Clayton.  In their vast wisdom, the women at daycare decided that baby food and milk was not enough for our big eater...so, they introduced GRILLED CHEESE SANDWICH!  Yes, you read that correctly.  I was a little upset initially.  Still not excited about the grilled cheese thing, but I have come to realize that the boy can probably handle more than pureed fruits and vegetables.  So, he's been eating a bit more table food at each meal.

Clayton is not crawling yet, but he sure is getting close.  He scoots on his behind to get to objects and rocks up on one leg.  Although we're excited to see him moving, it's a little scary.  We're going to need to start the baby proofing pronto!

Our little family traveled to Goshen again this weekend to see the whole clan.  It was so fun to see Clayton with his cousins.  Although they are not playing yet, they were definitely interested in each other.  Here are Clayton and Leo with Uncle Greg.  As you can see, Leo had decided that he didn't want to share his uncle in this picture.

Eliza was a great oldest cousin - teaching the boys how to play together.

We tried to get a photo of the three cousins together - this was the best we got.

The weather was fantastic on Sunday so we spent most of the day outdoor engaging in the XX annual Peep Olympics (something my crazy siblings created).

While the adults acted silly...

the boys watched intently.

Eliza took the camera now and then...here's one of her photos.  I think it looks pretty good - then again, I may be a bit biased about the subject matter.

Here's a family portrait from the weekend.  Not the best picture (of me at least) but the boys sure look cute.

I actually forgot to take an official 34 week photo - so this one will have to do.
