Week 18 - He's a big boy

Week 18 has been pretty quiet.  No new resolutions met, although Clayton's sitting skills are getting better and better.  We had his 4 month check-up on Monday and learned that Clayton is indeed a big boy!  He weighed in at 16 pounds, 10 ounces (90%ile) and measured 27 3/4 inches (>95%ile).  No wonder he's growing out of clothes almost faster than I can get them on him!  

Now that the Christmas tree is down and put away, we had room to put together Clayton's foam play mat.  He seems to like hanging out on it, and we like the ability to be able to mop up his slobber much more easily.

 He still tolerates the bumbo and does a good job of grabbing toys put in front of him.

 He's become much more adept at playing with his feet.  Although cute, it does cause some problems when we put him down in hopes he falls asleep on his own.  He tends to enjoy pulling off his socks and tickling himself a bit too much.
