Week 25 has been a little rough. Clayton's had a cough for about a week or so, but it took a turn for the worse last weekend. We got a call (yet again) from daycare on Monday telling us Clayton was sick and we needed to come get him. Two visits to the doctor in 24 hours as well as a call to the urgent care line resulted in a diagnosis of bronchiolitis (secondary to RSV) and prescription of albuterol treatments. Let me say, it's not fun to hold a mask over your kids face until he breathes 6-8 times as he's attempting to bat it away with his hands. Even though 8 of 9 kids in his class came down with RSV (3 of them ending up in the hospital), Clayton wasn't allowed back into daycare for most of the week. We are very very fortunate that Nana was able to come down and stay with our sick boy once again. Nana brought Izzy, and it seems as though Clayton and Izzy hit it off.
Not so sure initially....
but, after a few doggy kisses...
all was well!
Despite being under the weather, Clayton was still his sweet happy self this week. Just a few additional pictures to demonstrate.
Although he didn't sleep well or often this week, when he did he often ended up on his belly with his hands under his head, just like his mom!
He's also getting more and more excited about toys and loves to play with them.
He now pushes up fully on his arms when he's on his tummy, so....
Ryan decided it's time to teach him to crawl. He's scooted forward a time or two, but that's about it so far.
And, here is the week 25 photo.
